The article above has more detailed steps to follow, but essentially you need to choose your platform (e.g a website builder such as Wix or Squarespace, or a CMS like WordPress), sign up and choose a template to work with. You then need to customize the site to make it your own. This could include adding your own text and images, video, design elements, changing the color palette, adding contact forms, your “about” info, and more. You also need to optimze for SEO by adding page titles, alt text descriptions to images, including keywords, and so on. When you’re ready you need to preview and publish your website. You can then begin marketing and promoting your website using methods such as social media, email marketing, further SEO optimization to get found on Google, and more. None of Weebly’s plans include a free emal address unfortunately! The best option I can think of its that Squarespace provides one free year of the Google Workspace Starter plan which allows you to create email addresses for your custom domain. But to be eligbe you’ll bee to be on the Business plan minimum, which costs $23/month (billed annually) and so may be outside the budget you had in mind.
